How to check your new Apple Mac’s warranty

This week, a couple of people I know have finally also started using Macs. With all the newbie questions I’ve been facing, I thought I’d start writing them on my blog to help me remember the answers for reference.

The first thing that comes to mind when you just bought a new Apple Mac would be warranty and support coverage. In order to check for your new Mac’s warranty, you will need to get your Mac’s serial number.

To find the serial number of your MacBook, iMac or any other Apple product, you can read the “How to find the serial number of your Apple hardware product” page on Apple’s web site.

Once you’ve found the serial number, you can check your warranty at the “Check Your Service and Support Coverage” page.
