When I get out of the house, I usually bring along gadgets that need to connect to the Internet. In my case, I have an Android mobile phone that has the data subscription. I usually turn on the phone’s WiFi Hotspot feature so that my other gadgets will be able to connect to the internet. For me, it has gotten to a point that I decided to do something about this repetitive task of turning on and off my phone’s WiFi Hotspot whenever I leave or arrive my house.
Several weeks back, I’ve finally decided to clean up an Android app that I have been using and published it in the Android Market. The mobile app is simple. What it does is automatically disable and enable my Internet connection via GPRS/EDGE/HSDPA based on the configured time schedule. You can also configure it such that it will enable/disable the Internet connection based on a repeating schedule.
I’m trying to use the MaStory mobile app for maemo based Nokia N900 to get feel of how easy or hard it is to post a WordPress article. For now, I’m just doing a short status like post.
