Casio G-Shock with a heart rate monitor
I’ve had this Casio G-Shock watch for as long as I can remember. It’s lightweight, waterproof and shockproof. Sometimes I don’t even bother removing it when I take a bath or go swimming. It’s been with me come rain or shine.
The watch has bought analog and digital timekeeping functions. Still, the battery lasts like forever. Ok not forever but at least more than a year which is like forever compared to 1-week before recharge activity bands.
I’ve used a couple of activity trackers with heart rate monitors like the Xiaomi Mi Band 2 that’s useful enough for everyday use that I’d really wish Casio would come up with a Casio G-Shock model that incorporates the functions of the Xiaomi Mi Band 2 into the same size of the Casio G-Shock on the photo above. While the Casio guys are at it, maybe they can make it solar powered so that I don’t even have to change batteries every year. 😉
